We are seeking anexperienced and dynamic Permanent Commercial Lines Account Managerto join our thriving financial team. This is an exceptionalopportunity for an individual who is passionate about finance andhas a proven track record in account management, risk management,insurance underwriting, business development, and communicationskills. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio ofcommercial accounts and developing new business from existingclients. This position involves maintaining client relationshipsand understanding their needs to provide solutions and deliverexceptional service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and maintain aportfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all client needsand requirements are met. 2. Lead the process of renewing andselling insurance contracts, negotiating terms with clients andinsurance carriers. 3. Develop and implement strategies forretaining clients, identifying opportunities for growth within theexisting client base. 4. Evaluate clients’ risks and insuranceneeds and recommend appropriate coverage. 5. Collaborate withunderwriters to prepare and present detailed proposals and costestimates. 6. Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuringhigh client satisfaction and retention. 7. Keep abreast of industrytrends, market activities, and competitors to maintain acompetitive edge. 8. Resolve any issues and problems faced bycustomers and deal with complaints to maintain trust. 9. Provideregular reports to management on sales results, client feedback,and market trends. 10. Participate in continuing education programsin both insurance and sales.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5years of experience in the insurance industry with a focus oncommercial lines. 2. Proven work experience as an Account Manageror relevant role demonstrating sound judgment, problem-solving, anddecision-making abilities. 3. Proficiency in risk assessment,insurance underwriting, and account management. 4. Strongunderstanding of commercial insurance products, contracts, andunderwriting guidelines. 5. Excellent communication skills, bothverbal and written, with the ability to present complex informationin a clear and concise manner. 6. Proven ability to juggle multipleaccount management projects at a time, while maintaining sharpattention to detail. 7. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.8. A demonstrated ability to understand and analyze salesperformance metrics. 9. Solid experience with CRM software and MSOffice. 10. A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Finance, or a related field is preferred. 11. Insurance industrycertifications (CIC, CRM, CPCU) are a plus.
