Personal Insurance Account Manager Valley National Bank – 3.2 West Palm Beach, FL Job Details $30.60 – $51.04 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Management Mid-level 3 years Real Estate Broker High school diploma or GED Human resources Epic Communication skills Full Job Description Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Service a book of business representing approximately $2-3M premium. Analysis of policy forms, prepares coverage comparisons, identifying exposures, making appropriate recommendations to clients and assisting clients with understanding of policy coverages. Renew all assigned policies to ensure they are issued according on a timely basis and in accordance with prescribed workflows. This includes detailed documentation in Epic system. Monitor reports on Epic (agency answer) as assigned by Dept Manager. Develop and maintain relationship with assigned clients, handling all servicing requests. Direct and frequent involvement and negotiations with insurance company underwriters. May involve training of other staff members as well as participation in training of new employees. Reliance on industry experience and judgement to plan and assist in accomplishing department goals as set by department manager and senior management.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
Strong insurance technical skills – must have knowledge of insurance coverages, policy forms and insurance industry marketplace. Organizational skills to properly manage book of business. Communication skills – Involvement with other VIS Depts, Insurance carrier underwriters, clients.
Required Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years agency (or related) experience. Insurance brokers license preferred.
