Full Job Description Overview:
As a Logistics Support Representative/CSR, you will work directly with your area planner/broker to provide a high level of service to your customers. On a daily basis, you will be reaching out to new and existing customers for potential freight opportunities. You will also work with the sales team to provide feedback and potential trends you are seeing from our customers. Load tracking will be an essential task to be completed each day in order to achieve the level of service expected from our customers and Navajo.
Work Schedule:
Will vary on the area in which you plan. A 9-hour day with a 1-hour lunch is expected.
Responsibilities :
- Contact all customers on a daily basis requesting freight opportunities and notifying them on capacity in order to increase total load volume. Customer focus should based on many factors including the following o Yield o Commitments o Driver Ease
- Enter contact with customers in Salesforce on a daily basis. Point of contact and feedback should be stated in the entry.
- Work with driver leaders and planners to ensure on time pickup and deliver for all customers.
- Make sure all appointments are scheduled in a timely manner to ensure maximum productivity from the driver.
- Reach out to customers in areas of need minimizing deadhead. This is achieved by working directly with the planner to identify the troubled areas.
- Provide load tracking to customers through email, EDI, internet or manually when requested.
- Order entry for all tendered loads emailed, tendered or sent EDI.
- Communicate service issues and/or failures to the customer as they arise.
