Property & Casualty – Account Manager 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 General Description Our agency is growing, and we are excited to offer this Property & Casualty – Account Manager position. This role within the agency will be responsible for helping maintain and grow Berlin & Denys client base, managing a portfolio of insurance clients by building relationships, analyzing their risk profiles, finding suitable insurance coverage options, negotiating premiums with carriers, renewing policies, and providing ongoing customer service, all while ensuring clients have appropriate P&C insurance protection for their property and liability needs. Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting the overall experience with Berlin & Denys clients and department team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their coverage needs, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly
- Collaborating with other P & C team members to maximize efficiency of the role
- Handling endorsement/change requests
- Helping clients with cancellation notices
- Ability to effectively present insurance options, negotiate premiums, and cross-sell with confidence
- Manage the renewal process for existing clients, including reviewing coverage needs, negotiating premiums, and ensuring seamless policy continuation
- Generating referrals when possible
- Familiarity with insurance agency management systems and software to manage client information and policies Job Qualifications
- Active 4-40, 20-44 or 2-20 Florida Property & Casualty License
- Commercial background helpful
- Experience with Epic – Applied Rater / EZ-Lynx ideal
- Superior phone skills
- Enthusiastic about the role insurance plays in helping people manage the risks of everyday life
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$22.50 – $26.00 per hour
