Channel Executive Job Description:
As our Channel Account Executive, you will establish and maximize the strategic direction and execution of partner sales and “go big” investment strategies for our top 30 strategic and large-scale Sage business partners every day. To thrive in this role, you must maximize sales opportunities, drive business development, establish and manage executive and primary relationships, and provide a single point of contact with Sage for top business partners. This role encompasses three main focus areas: sales specialist, business growth consultant, and relationship manager. This is a hybrid office environment, where we meet 3 days a week in one of our offices in Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Austin, or Portland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business growth consultant providing advice and assistance to partners in maximizing opportunities to build and accelerate the partner’s business and revenue.
- Build and manage relationships with partners as a trusted advisor and single point of contact within Sage.
- Monitor goals set by the partner and Sage to increase partner product revenue productivity.
- Track and communicate key performance metrics such as New License Revenue, Product Revenue, pipeline strength, and customer renewal rates, by month, quarter, and fiscal year and provide feedback for course correction that allows partners to meet or exceed goals.
- Manage long, complex sales cycles – often involving multiple Sage products and decision makers through strategic planning and securing the appropriate resources (either Sage or Partner) to best support the opportunity at the optimum point in the sales cycle
- Create and execute action plans on behalf of the partner to engage the appropriate Sage cross-functional teams in contributing to the partner’s sales and development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of experience in channel/partner management within the SaaS industry.
- Deep understanding of subscription-based cloud software business models.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
- Familiarity with accounting and CRM software, particularly the Sage product suite.
- Experience with enterprise software solutions and managing relationships in large, complex organizations.
