Overview
The Customer Account Manager
- Intl level II is responsible for day-to-day management of, and expanding, the client relationship.
In addition, the role will be responsible for customer service (24/7), KPI monitoring, tracking, routing, problem resolution, client reporting, vendor compliance, account profitability, and all other assigned projects as dictated by the needs of the client. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills while working in a high volume and fast paced environment. The Customer Account Manager is the primary point of contact for a large revenue-producing and more complex customer base responsible for all steps in the logistics process for these customer(s), which may not be routine in nature.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, leading, and managing key account(s). Responsible for the outcome of assigned projects including KPI reporting, customer service, routing, problem resolution (including accounts receivable), vendor compliance and customer interaction.
Adhere to all government and regulatory compliance standards with regards to AES, customs clearance, ITAR, screening of denied parties and dangerous goods regulations
Review account budgets, pricing, quoting, and improving cost effectiveness.
Analyze account data and provide predictions to management. To include assistance of creation of MBR and QBR data to meet or exceed global sales and client expectations.
Developing solutions that best address customer needs, coordinating with other departments and employees as needed, and working constantly with clients to ensure their needs are being met

Other Skills We Hope to
See:
Minimum basic qualifications: High school degree or GED required
Associates degree or higher preferred
7-10 years previous Freight Forwarding experience
Proficint in MS Word, Excel, CargoWise experience preferred, but not required
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
Must be able to work in a team setting, across multiple time zones and global geographies
Ability to determine resources to meet and exceed company and customer expectations
Ability to problem solve and be solution oriented
Individual must have a self-starter mentality and is adaptive and flexible
Ability to calculate freight rates and amounts such percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Intermediate knowledge of international shipping documentation and country specific requirements
Basic understanding of international accounting.
