Location Alpharetta, Georgia Job Purpose Channel expansion and the growth of our Mass Merchant business isthe fastest and most efficient way to grow Honda’s unit sales andmarket share. With West Marine scheduled to begin carrying Hondaproducts in 2025 in conjunction with Honda’s existing relationshipwith Sportsman’s Warehouse, Camping World and others, it isimperative that the Honda Marine Sales Department have anexperienced and dedicated Assistant Manager to handle nurture andgrow this business. The National Marine Account Manager is tasked with achievingassigned sales targets within their designated territory bydeveloping and maintaining a strong network of Honda Marinecustomers in the Large Retail, Internet Reseller and WarehouseDistributor customer segments. This role involves directly sellingHonda outboard motors these partners and managing accountrelationships at all levels, from executive management to salespersonnel. This role will also support National sales initiatives,represent Honda Marine at select key sales events, and overseeco-op advertising programs. Additionally, this position requiresregular reporting on market and industry trends to drive wholesalegoals for Honda Marine products. Key Accountabilities Channel Expansion Development (Prospecting) Account Relationship Management Achieving Sales Objectives Market and Industry Reports Training Event Representation Co-op Advertising Support Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum Educational Qualifications 4-year degree in Marketing or Business OR equivalent workexperience Minimum Experience 5+ years of Marine Industry experience. Expert knowledge of boats and marine equipment. Experience in selling marine outboard engines or similartechnical products is preferred. 5+ years Key Account Management Experience in Mass Merchant,Wholesale or other similar capacity

Other Job-Specific Skills Relationship Management:

Excellent interpersonal skills withthe ability to build and maintain strong relationships with HondaMarine partners and internal staff.

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of outboard engines andtheir applications on boats, including basic technicalspecifications and benefits.

Workstyle Travel:

Requires 60% travel to visit OEM partners, attendindustry events, and support sales activities.

Physical Demands:

Involves heavy lifting and manual labor attradeshows and dealer events.

Work Schedule:
