Technical Application Specialist TalentFleX Solutions Pendergrass, GA 30567 Job Summary The Technical Application Specialist collaborates with Sales Account Managers to translate the value proposition to the market and customers, and will contribute to business growth by optimizing the product and customer mix and efficiently coordinating information between the local sales organization and the production, technical, and R D departments. Key Responsibilities External Responsibilities Visit customers with Sales Account Managers to provide technical assistance (technical support, claim handling, new product introductions). Attends trade shows and exhibitions to position the company as an innovative company. Coordinates with internal stakeholders and customers where applicable to follow-up on and report on new projects. Identify and translate new technologies and market trends to the organization, suggesting improvements for products and services. Attends customer meetings in support of sales team where needed, to provide guidance and technical advice. Internal Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate project activities, ensuring timely delivery, resource management, and alignment with overall objectives. Collaborate with necessary internal teams through stages of product development to ensure successful new product launches. Collaborate with production, technical, and R D departments to optimize product quality and cost-efficiency. Organize customer testing, validation, and reporting in cooperation with external labs. Decide on preform and bottle offerings based on technical performance and production capacity, considering customer requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) and 4+ years’ experience in PET packaging engineering and field application support within a manufacturing environment preferred. 5+ years’ experience in stretch blow molding processing preferred. Demonstrated commercial skills in a technical environment and working with technical products. Ability to communicate with multiple partners, internal and external, to develop innovative solutions that support company initiatives. Demonstrates strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement. Loyal team player who understands how to work with stakeholders to achieve results. Working Conditions This is an onsite position, with travel required up to 50% across a multi-state region, and occasional travel abroad. The role involves frequent internal and external stakeholder meetings, and requires a candidate with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
