Job Description

National Account Manager Reliance Recruiting Georgia • Remote Are you a driven sales leader with experience in plastics, packaging and retail category management? Join a leading provider of specialty plastics manufacturing solutions as a National Sales Manager and play a key role in growing market share across Big Box retail and the food packaging sectors. We are looking for a self-starter who can manage key accounts, uncover new opportunities, and deliver customized solutions that align with customer and retail strategy needs. This is a remote position with regular travel to client sites and industry events. •

Remote (Must reside in AZ, CO, TX, AL, GA, FL, IN, or MA)•

What You’ll Do:

Manage and grow relationships with key accounts in Big Box retail and food packaging. Identify and secure new business opportunities across target sectors. Lead product launches from concept through commercialization. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that align with retail category management strategies. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to stay ahead. Leverage retail forecasting to support customer demand planning and optimize inventory strategies. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers. Serve as a technical resource, offering product recommendations and support for customer initiatives. Create and execute strategic account plans to exceed sales targets. Represent the company at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management—within plastics packaging in support of retail supply chains. Proven success managing Big Box retail accounts and developing strong customer relationships. Knowledge of retail forecasting and category management. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 25-40%).
