Introduction
A Brand Sales Manager career within IBM means being a leader. Someone who sets the tone for collaboration, innovation and growth across your team of Technology Brand Sales Specialists, 3rd party sales partners, and client contacts within any given market and /or territory. Applying ownership, accountability, and autonomy for your entire book of business, you’ll work through and with multiple teams and stakeholders – internal and external to IBM – as you execute your strategy against account plans that consistently deliver value for your clients.
Your role and responsibilities
A natural at inspiring and motivating others, you will lead a teams of exceptional sales and technical talent to identify, qualify and develop ‘trusted-advisor’ relationships with their clients. The results of which will persuade them to invest in our storage offerings.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Blending Tech Sales and Technical Expertise:
Blend tech sales expertise with technical know-how to engage clients effectively.
Account and Opportunity Planning:
Develop account and opportunity plans for generating new and recurring revenue.
Customer Relationship Management:
Manage customer relationships and satisfaction with our offerings
Required education

Required Experience:
Experienced sales leader : Deep expertise in brand sales, preferably on IBM infrastructure offering ie storage
Client-Centric Technical Acumen:
Strong technical acumen for aligning client needs with value-driven solutions.
Quota Overachievement:
Consistently over-achieving sales quotas in complex tech environments.
Communication & Networking Excellence:
Excellent people, communication, and C-suite networking skills.
Agile Sales Proficiency:
Proficiency in agile and modern sales methodologies for nimble success
Preferred technical and professional experience
Familiarity with
IBM’s Product Portfolio:
Prior experience working with any of IBM’s infrastructure products and services (storage would be an advantage).
Comprehension of IBM’s Competitive Advantages:
Understanding IBM’s competitive distinctions, as well as the positioning of competitors within the market .
