As a Technical Account Manager with AWC, you will work directly with our technology partners and develop a deep understanding of their capabilities. You will interact with our sales and engineering staff to support our customers in understanding their applications and discuss how our technology and services can be implemented for their improvement. You will strive to leverage agile design and service methods to create greater value faster while helping our team execute as promised, on time and within budget. The successful candidate must be innovative, passionate, and resourceful while demonstrating technical skills. How you’ll make an impact: Communicate and present both formally and informally how to implement technical product and service solutions with key accounts and new customers Work with AWC sales and engineer teams implement word-class technology and service solutions Understand and teach code requirements, pressure relief technology and the related service offerings to support both daily MRO (maintenance/repair/operation), TAR (turnaround/shutdown), and new Project opportunities Provide technical support for the following products/technologies: Pressure Relief Valves, Rupture Discs, Explosion Vents, Process Silencers Motivated self-starter with the unique ability to manage a complex schedule, tasks and goals Skills you’ll need: Must be a team player with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals Sense of urgency, high energy with high accountability Ability to clearly communicate (verbal and written via phone, e-mail, etc.) Be available and responsive immediately when needed Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Here’s what will set you apart: Technical PRV trusted advisor with a proven sales history 4-year bachelor’s degree / 2-year technical degree (preferred in an Engineering) Farris, Consolidated, Emerson, Lesser, Mercer, etc experience
