Baton Rouge, LA•Pecue•Retail shop How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Account Manager is responsible for managing the sales processand driving profitable sales growth within an assigned salesterritory to existing and new Airgas customers. Our AccountManagers sell industrial, medical, and specialty gases andequipment, welding products, tools, and hardware and safetyproducts. They also manage communication with District, Branch,Sales, and Plant Managers regularly and when necessary tofacilitate 100% customer service and satisfaction. In particular, you will: Establish and maintain clear and consistent lines ofcommunication with internal departments relative to customersuccesses, customer failures, new customer developments, and othercustomer-specific information. Develop and execute plans to improve Airgas market share withinthe assigned sales territory. Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and proposalsto prospective customers. Qualify and pursue sales leads from other parts of the Airgasorganization. Keep local, regional, and national Airgas management informedof territory performance, personal performance, and markettrends. Maintains focus on safety in the workplace by complying withcompany safety procedures and practices. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? Bachelor’s degree in a science, business or related degreefield required. In lieu of degree, consideration for up to 4 yearsof additional related experience may be accepted. A minimum of 3 years of prior outside business-to-businesssales experience to include proven experience and success insolution-selling concepts and a demonstrated history of managingcustomers throughout a defined sales territory. Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas/ welding supply sales a plus. Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritizethe targeting of customers delivering the highest value toAirgas. Experience in collaborative, CSM platforms, such as GoogleSpace and Salesforce. Proven success using a consultative sales approach providingmultiple layers of value to a customer to establish a mix salessolutions and products ________________________ We care about and support our Airgas Families.
