Description:
Landrieu Concrete & Cement is looking for an experienced Outside Account Manager with knowledge in the Concrete Industry. The Outside Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing assigned portfolio of existing customers as well as developing new business from existing clients and actively seeking new sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Negotiate bids and close agreements to maximize profits Meet personal and team sales targets Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads and develop new accounts Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments and market trends Maintain and expand client database within assigned territory Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to ensure accurate specifications included in bid Ensure the timely and quality delivery of concrete according to customers’ needs and objectives Manage customer expectations of the product ordering and delivery process, credit agreement and payment terms among others Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed Visit job sites to ensure site conditions are safe for deliveries as well as for pre-pour meetings and service pours

Proven experience as an Account Manager/Outside Sales Rep, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role Bilingual; fluent in English & Spanish is a must Self-motivated, organized and able to work under minimal supervision Familiarity with different sales techniques and ability to upsell and market value added products Track record of over-achieving goals/quotas Experience delivering customer-focused solutions to customer needs Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining attention to detail Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Competency with Microsoft 365 Must have valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and proof of insurance required to visit multiple job sites This position description is a summary of the typical functions of the job, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
