As an Account Representative at Piazza Seafood, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving revenue and profit by supporting our established Sales Team. Upon completion of training, you’ll transition into a dedicated Account Representative, focusing on identifying and cultivating new and existing business relationships by showcasing Piazza’s diverse seafood offerings to customers and potential clients. What you’ll be doing: Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships through effective communication with the sales team, customers, and other internal departments. You’ll collaborate with the sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and negotiate competitive pricing strategies. Working closely with the distribution team ensures the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. Additionally, you’ll assist with customer collections in collaboration with the Accounting team, as needed. Throughout your tenure, you’ll develop into a subject-matter expert in the seafood industry, providing valuable insights and guidance to both customers and colleagues.

What you need:

To excel in this role, a solid foundation is key, requiring at least two years of post-high school education or equivalent practical experience, complemented by familiarity with ERP/CRM systems. Success hinges on your ability to articulate clearly and effectively, coupled with robust problem-solving skills to navigate various challenges. A proactive and forthright nature in resolving conflicts is vital, ensuring issues are addressed constructively and efficiently. Demonstrating an unwavering dedication to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine enthusiasm for achieving goals are highly desirable traits. While not mandatory, prior experience within the seafood industry, along with bilingual abilities (particularly Spanish or another language), would be a significant advantage.
