We’re seeking a dynamic State Market Manager to drive growth, build strong distributor and account relationships, and lead sales initiatives in your region. 🌟

What You’ll Do:

Independently manage key on- and off-premise accounts, developing strong relationships and executing portfolio strategies. Lead, direct, train, and manage area distributor sales teams to achieve fiscal year sales goals. Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with market trends, consumer needs, and brand objectives. Regularly visit key accounts and collaborate with distributors to drive volume and achieve sales objectives. Participate in local events that align with brand strategies, ensuring visibility and engagement. Monitor market activity, analyze competitive trends, and provide actionable feedback to leadership. Maintain a detailed calendar of activities, promotions, and key account visits. Lead in-store sampling to promote portfolio. Provide bi-weekly market reports and ensure accurate, timely communication with supervisors and distributor teams. Travel as needed to support other markets and opportunities. Job execution will break into the following components: 60 % time in the Field (on own, with wholesaler reps or UWS managers) 20 % time on Wholesaler interaction (in the market or at the wholesaler) 20 % time on Administrative, pre-planning, and Follow-up. 💡

What We’re Looking For:

A four-year college degree and/or equivalent field experience. Proven experience managing sales in the wine and spirits industry or a similar field. Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while driving distributor alignment and field-level execution. Passion for emerging brands, and trends, and delivering exceptional products. Willingness to travel as needed to meet business demands. Additional Requirements Current valid driver’s license. Overnight travel as required and must be able to meet a minimum requirement travel schedule for assigned territories. No DWI offenses or illegal drug use. Must reside in the state of the job posting.
