Position Summary:
As an integral part of the Refining Customer Service team, the incumbent will be responsible for exceeding the customer expectations by providing genuine service. This incumbent in this role is the main point of contact to the customer once they are acquired, and thus becomes the advocate and voice of the customer to Metalor. This role will be responsible for handling the process from start to finish while maintaining and deepening the relationship. The incumbent will perform a variety of transactions, paying close attention to detail and ensuring proper execution and settlement for Accounts. The position reports directly to the Refining Customer Service Manager for the Americas.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Effective verbal and written English communication skills, ability to speak Spanish is a plus Strong math skills Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization, including senior level management Ability to work independently Strong computer literacy with demonstrated ability to work independently in various programs Very strong interpersonal skills Ability to deal with constant interruptions Ability to multi-task Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations Strong Organization skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities Strong Computer skills; particularly in Microsoft Office Applications Experience with ERP applications; SAP a strong plus Very strong inter-personal skills Strong Customer Service skills and demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of an organization including senior level management Ability to work independently Strong ability to analyze information, identify problems and propose solutions to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
Create a connection and develop and maintain a rapport with customers to provide outstanding, personalized service. Handling the process from end to end for each assigned customer from the Lot initiation until final settlement; ensuring the pricing conditions are accurate and up to date for each customer. Identifying, evaluating and notifying any issues or delays that could impact the customer to the Customer Service Supervisor and Manager Executing on-time delivery for advances, settlements and all payments; tracking settlements on a daily basis by conducting Daily review of status, maintenances, and reducing all errors. Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust, based on established policies and procedures Building, developing and maintaining partnerships with teammates among all departments internally to maximize effectiveness by clearly communicating to serve customers while providing Support to Regional Sales Managers Accurately and efficiently processing transactions, adhering to the customer proposal ensuring that terms and pricing conditions are accurate and kept up to date for each assigned customer and informing Supervisor/ Manager of any changes and exceptions Informing and educating customers on how to conduct simple transaction through self-service technologies (Customer Portal) Daily auditing, maintenance and correction of errors Proactively handle risk, adhering to the rules and seeking approval for anything out of the normal activities. SOP’s Education:
Associates Degree in Business or similar field
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in precious metals industry is preferred
