Position Purpose:

The position’s purpose is to retain and growexisting high value/ strategic customers within the assignedterritory. Primary Duties /

Responsibilities:

Manage all existingcustomer accounts within an assigned sales territory with focus onnamed high value/strategic accounts. In the strategic accounts itis expected that the Account Manager owns the customerrelationships with additional focus on growth through expandedservice offerings, margin improvement, treatment technologyoptimization and customer retention. Engage in consultative-sellingtechniques that provide recommendations on a problem to solutionbasis. Advise customers on ESS’ services and solutions through abasic understanding of various state and local governmentalregulations pertaining to generation, storage, transportation anddisposal of generated waste. Support Technical SalesRepresentative(s) with onboarding new accounts to ensure aneffective handoff. Determine the current total spend on hazardouswaste of the high value/ strategic customers and ESS’s % share.

Create account plans and document in Salesforce for all high value/strategic customers to grow and retain these customers. Recordleads within existing high value/ strategic customers inSalesforce. Play an active role in management of Price Books for(higher value/ strategic) accounts; for example additions for newwaste streams/service codes. Support the Technical SalesRepresentative(s) and Inside Sales Representative(s) as requiredwith information/ help within territory. Maintain cooperativeworking relationships with all necessary departments to ensureeffective coordination and resolution of customer issues. Otherresponsibilities at the direction of the Strategy & Growth Manager.

Travel to customer sites for in-person meetings is required.

Qualifications Education / Experience /

Background:

High SchoolDiploma Demonstrable customer relationship experience Technicalknowledge/ experience of waste transport, disposal and recycling(from a degree or from experience) Awareness of managing financialPreferred degree or equivalent experience in science, mathematics,or business 5 years of sales experience Knowledge / Skills /

Abilities:

Relationship-building skills Ability to prioritize thehighest value opportunities. Focus on meeting customers needs,offering the least complex and most efficient (profitable) solutionfor ESS Ability to manage customer and waste stream P&Ls Ableto work collaboratively across different functions and to securehelp from colleagues Comfortable with a role on the road, but ableto maintain connectivity to branch/ satellite Strong communicationskills and writing skills Required Certification / Licenses /

Training:

Veolia training as required.

Additional Information PayRange:

$70000 to $100000 per year.
