Position Summary The Government Account Manager is a field-based position focused on driving sales growth and managing key customer relationships within assigned territory consisting of Veterans Health, Department of Defense, and Indian Health facilities. Success in this role requires coordination with the full sales team to identify new business opportunities to meet sales objectives and to cultivate good relationships with new current customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: Drive Territory Growth and Achieve Sales Targets Drive sales growth across Veterans Health, DoD, and Indian Health facilities Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with sales objectives Identify and pursue new business opportunities Maintain detailed customer and sales activity records Monitor market trends and competitor activities Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets Business Development and Territory Management Serve as a technical expert for Signia’s complete product portfolio and fitting software Create targeted plans for new technology adoption Present quarterly business reviews and performance analysis Track and analyze key metrics for territory performance Partner with assigned Government Audiologist (GA) to: Develop and execute annual territory business plans Set and achieve strategic sales targets Identify and prioritize growth opportunities Support account-specific strategies Review account penetration and product mix Create targeted plans for new technology adoption Maximize Customer Engagement Lead impactful in-person sales meetings Participate in regional and national training events to generate interest and create high-impact qualified sales opportunities Create compelling customer experiences that accelerate conversion Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers Practice Sales Excellence Utilize digital sales tools including Salesforce, Showpad, and Allego Implement proven WSA sales methodology: Strategic pre-call planning Consultative needs assessment Compelling value presentations Expert objection handling Securing com Systematic follow-up
REQUIREMENTS
