NVOCC OCEAN FREIGHT SALES

The primary purpose of this job is tocreate and maintain revenue. This is done primarily through thesales of ocean and air freight, NVOCC services, inbound andoutbound and all related service offerings as well as maintaininggood relations with existing accounts. This position needs veryclose coordination with the internal NVOCC personnel, as well askey operational personnel in the Air and Ocean operatingdepartments.

DUTIES:

? Prospect & qualify new customers ? Developmarketing strategies in line with Company goals and objectives ?Proactively contact your customer base Meet call quotes as outlinedby management ? Increasing sales revenue while reducing clientturnover ? Presenting value added and efficient solutions to salesprocess

Qualifications:

? Bachelor’s degree in business or relatedfield preferred , experience may be substituted -At least 3 yearsof directly related sales experience required -At least 5 years oflogistics/transportation experience required ? Knowledge of variousrelationship sales techniques ? Demonstrated ability to build andmaintain relationships ? Flexible, creative, and able to work in anon-structured developing work environment ? Demonstrated capacityto think “outside the box”, communicate and motivate customers onthe company’s products, programs, and new ideas ? Proficient inMicrosoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint ?Excellent oral/written communication skills, includingwell-developed presentation skills ?
