As a Senior Account Manager at Qt Group, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts within the automotive sector across an assigned territory. This hybrid role, based in Boston, MA, combines strategic account management with consultative sales, focused on helping leading automotive companies leverage the Qt framework to drive innovation in embedded systems, digital cockpits, and HMI development. This position can be based in our Boston, Dallas, or Detroit offices. What You’ll Do
Manage and grow strategic relationships with major automotive accounts, serving as a trusted partner to engineering and product stakeholders
Engage C-level engineering leaders, directors, and technical decision-makers to understand their product goals and align them with Qt’s value proposition
Develop and execute account strategies tailored to the automotive ecosystem, focused on long-term growth and customer success
Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and lead efforts to secure renewals, upsells, and cross-sells
Deliver compelling technical and business presentations, proposals, and demos to demonstrate Qt’s impact across the vehicle lifecycle
Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing—to support customer needs and strategic initiatives
Stay up to date on trends in automotive software development, embedded systems, and Qt’s product roadmap
Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting
What You Bring to the Table
5-7 years of experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales, preferably with exposure to the automotive industry or embedded systems
Proven success managing strategic customer relationships and complex sales cycles
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and business audiences
Experience navigating enterprise accounts and engaging stakeholders across engineering, R D, and procurement
Familiarity with software development lifecycles, embedded platforms, and HMI development tools is a strong plus
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC and tools like Salesforce
Bachelor’s Degree required
