Medical Dispensary Account Manager Cannoisseur New Gloucester, ME 04260 • Hybrid work Summary We’re seeking a Sales Associate with an intimate knowledge of the cannabis industry to drive outreach efforts to medical dispensaries . This role involves direct communication with medical cannabis dispensary buyers, managers, and decision-makers to understand their purchasing process, offer our latest product information, and help build lasting partnerships. You’ll handle l ead generation, log all communications, coordinate sample deliveries , and occasionally deliver product or drop off samples to potential new vendors. Responsibilities Proactively call and email licensed medical dispensaries across Maine Inquire about their purchasing process, buying cycles, and preferred contact methods Offer menus, pricing, sample drop-offs, and promotional opportunities Ask if they would like to be added to our mailing or SMS list for updates Build rapport with dispensary contacts and act as a professional brand representative Follow up regularly to maintain engagement and nurture leads Coordinate and perform sample drop-offs to prospective dispensaries Occasionally deliver product orders to existing clients Schedule delivery windows with vendors and owners, ensuring timely, professional handoffs Log all calls, contacts, and outcomes in a lead tracking spreadsheet or CRM Maintain up-to-date records of dispensary contact info and sales progress

Qualifications Required:

Deep familiarity with cannabis — both front-of-house (retail, customer service) and back-of-house (inventory, purchasing, cultivar knowledge) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and organized with a high level of professionalism Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (for sample and order deliveries) Comfortable with spreadsheets and basic reporting/logging

Preferred:

Prior experience working in or with dispensaries (budtender, buyer, brand rep, etc.) Knowledge of Maine’s medical cannabis market and regulations Experience using CRM software or lead tracking tools Enthusiasm for craft cannabis and a strong belief in plant quality and terpene expression
