Position Summary:
Manages a geographical sales territory including New Hampshire & Maine, ensuring customer needs are met, and budgeted sales and gross profit objectives are achieved/exceeded. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities:
Regularly calls on existing and potential customers Effectively manages segment markets by location, potential and size. Builds long-term relationships by becoming knowledgeable about customers’ business. Communicates with local brokers/manufacturer representatives to uncover sales opportunities. Develops appropriate bids and menus for all products to support customers’ business strategies. Retrieves and utilizes information continually to make the appropriate and profitable recommendation on pricing for the customer and Broadline. Required Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience 12+ months in foodservice sales, culinary experience or foodservice management in an institutional setting Valid Driver’s License and vehicle
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree:
Business management, sales/marketing or related area 2+ years in foodservice sales, culinary experience, or foodservice management in an institutional setting – Such as a Foodservice Director, Food & Nutrition Director in a hospital, senior living center or school/college.
