Position Summary The Associate, Account Manager provides proactive account management and development of strong relationships by supporting the Account Manager and Account Director for existing customers in the Middle Market segment. They will be responsible for plan benefits, account set-up, plan sponsor reporting, and being an operations liaison. Key Responsibilities + Identifies customer service issues, identifies solutions, and may lead resolution of issues working with other areas. + Provides customers with Aetna policy, plan design, benefit changes, and network updates including analysis of impact. + May support plan administration activities, including installation, open-enrollment, plan set-up, eligibility, billing, and drafting by working proactively with support areas; signs-off on ID cards. + May assist in constituent training on product and policy questions. + Responds to customers’ requests for network analysis, benefit plan design changes, and benefit questions and clarifications. + Must be able to instill confidence in the customer that Aetna will be proactive and work to resolve issues. Required Qualifications + 2+ years of experience with account management, case administration, and providing solutions to constituent needs. + California Accident & Health Agent License – active or willing to obtain within 90 days of start date in the position. Preferred Qualifications + Previous experience with new business case implementations. + Previous experience in the health insurance industry. + Strong demonstration of service discipline. Education + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
