Commercial Lines Insurance Assistant Account Manager Thisposition is responsible for providing administrative support inobtaining, maintaining, expanding and maintaining excellentrelationships between Clients, Customer Service Managers, producersand insurers. The ideal candidate will be experienced in servicing,and be detail oriented according to agency procedures andstandards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain strongrelationships with customers. Prepare review letters on an annualbasis. Communicate changes or adjustments in policies to clients.
Understanding of contracts, carrier products, coverage forms andunderwriting guidelines. Knowledge and ability to work on multiplecarrier rating programs. Process additional lines of coverage forcurrent customers. Quoting for all lines of coverage to prospectivecustomers. Remain informed regarding industry information, newproduct information, and continuing education. Take client callsand emails in order to provide customer service and address allquestions and concerns of customers. Modify, update, and processexisting policies for customers to reflect any change in insurancecoverage and/or premiums. Follow-up on cancellation and billingissues. Complete forms such as Evidence of Insurance, Certificates,Applications, Auto ID Cards and Cancellation Forms. Correspond withinsured or agent to obtain information or inform the account statusor changes of customers. Maintain strong relationship withcustomers and insurance carriers. Solicit and process additionallines of coverage for existing clients. This description is notmeant to be all-inclusive and may be modified from time to time atthe discretion of management. Education And/or Experience Highschool diploma or equivalent. Possess active Property & CasualtyLicense or willing and able to obtain within first year. 2 yearsInsurance Industry experience preferred. Computer Skills Computerskills including Excel and Word. Working knowledge of Applied Epicis a plus. Comfortable navigating multiple carrier websites OtherQualifications Strong customer service skills including written andphone communication. Ability to prioritize and work on multipleprojects. Ability to function in a fast-pasted environment.
