Role:

As a Client Service Specialist , you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our veterinary team while ensuring good communication with our clients both in the clinic and on the farm. Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): .

Appointment Coordination:

Assist clients in scheduling appointments for both in clinic and on farm appointments via phone, email and text applications.

Communication:

Handle reminder and follow-up communications with clients, communicating day-of appointment changes and timely relaying urgent calls to the on-call provider. Communicating with in-house staff on arrivals and discharges, prescription refill request and non-urgent medical questions.

Record Keeping:

Accurately update and maintain client/pet records and files, ensuring a meticulous approach to detail.

Billing:

Review, prepare and collect on invoices generated by the veterinary staff.

Inventory:

Assist with ordering, receiving and logging inventory

Handling:

Participate, as requested, to properly hold horses for various procedures.

Compensation:

$19 – $22 based on knowledge & experience

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm

Working Knowledge:

Previous equine experience with preference given for experience in a veterinary setting. A good working knowledge of the equine athlete as a rider, groom, trainer or handler is equally desirable.

Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment , adapting to situations where protocols may not apply and handling unanticipated tasks with grace.

Lift and Carry :

Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs. Stand or stand for extended periods.

Job Types:
