Patient Account Representative Position Available In Alamance, North Carolina

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Account Representative to join our team in Burlington, North Carolina. This position is in the healthcare industry and will require a strong understanding of various software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process patient account information using Allscripts and Cerner Technologies
• Operate Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) to manage patient data efficiently
• Utilize

EHR SYSTEM

for maintaining patient records

• Use Epic Software for managing patient billing functions
• Handle patient inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner
• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate actions if necessary
• Perform administrative tasks related to patient account management
• Execute appeal procedures for patient accounts when required
• Oversee benefit functions relating to patient accounts
• Manage clinical trial operations as per the guidelines. Requirements
• Proficiency in Allscripts and Cerner Technologies is required
• Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is a must
• Experience with

• Knowledge of Epic Software is required
• Ability to handle Appeals effectively
• Understanding of Benefit Functions
