Job Description
Description We are on the lookout for a Patient Account Representative to join our team in Moncure, North Carolina. As a Patient Account Representative, your role would primarily involve handling customer inquiries, maintaining accurate records, and managing customer accounts. This role provides a short-term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently process patient credit applications
- Keep patient credit records up to date and accurate
- Address patient inquiries promptly and professionally
- Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions
- Familiarize oneself with Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) systems
- Understand the functionality of EHR SYSTEM and Epic Software
- Handle appeals and benefit functions appropriately
- Manage billing functions effectively
- Administer claims as per the required standards
- Participate in Clinical Trial Operations when necessary. Requirements
- Proficiency in using Allscripts software.
- Experience with Cerner Technologies.
- Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE).
- Proficient in using
EHR SYSTEM.
- Knowledge of Epic Software.
- Experience in handling Appeals.
- Understanding of Benefit Functions.
- Experience in Billing Functions.
- Knowledge of Claim Administration.
- Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations.
