Job Description

National Account Manager Litex Industries, Limited Mooresville, NC 28115

Primary Purpose:

Litex Industries is searching for a National Account Manager to manage the lighting categories in our Lowe’s private label portfolio. This person will drive Litex’s growth initiatives by developing and executing strategic omnichannel sales plans that align with the goals of Lowe’s merchants. They will utilize an analytical approach to profitably grow existing categories and identify new areas for growth. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for retail and e-commerce, a high level of flexibility and commitment, proven analytical capabilities and project management skills.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a highly visible, selling role.
  • Prior experience in home center channel a plus.
  • Exceptional project manager with proven successes in completing projects as assigned to achieve goals within requested timelines.
  • Positive and energetic team member possessing a strong presence and determination to take the business to the next level of success.
  • Able to prepare and present clear, compelling, and persuasive sales presentations that demonstrate the value of Litex as a vendor partner.
  • Proven success in problem solving and priority setting.
  • Proficiency in interpreting data to identify problems, establishing facts and drawing valid executable conclusions.
  • Able to effectively manage multiple objectives while reacting to rapidly changing work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, thorough and high sense of urgency.
  • Believer in a team-centric approach where others opinions are valued and respected.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Supervise category management, promotional planning, inventory management and the development/execution of line review presentations.

Surpass annual growth and profitability goals for lighting categories, in store and online. Develop strong working relationships with Lowe’s merchandising and inventory teams. Oversee profitable new item introductions and exit strategy for dropped items. Identify trends and relevant market information, then translate this information into product placement opportunities. Work with design team and factory partners to develop new products fill identified gaps in Lowe’s assortment. Analyze sales data and competitive landscape to provide business insights and identify actionable solutions that are compatible with Litex and Lowe’s KPI’s. Develop and present promotional plans that drive profitable incremental sales for Litex Work closely with internal support teams to communicate with factory partners and manage inventory levels. Provide support to other product category managers when needed. Ensure a positive work environment and be instrumental in team building.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to travel up to 10-15% including overseas travel 1-2 times per year.
