Account Manager – Sales 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 Teguar Corporation is expanding, and we are looking for an Account Manager to join our Sales team. In this role you will collaborate with… Internal teams including Sales Support Staff, Product Managers, Engineers and Supply Chain. A combination of both domestic and international customers in industries such as Industrial Automation, Food and Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology, and OEM Equipment Manufacturers. Vendors of industrial computers and rugged handheld tablets that lead the Industrial Automation industry with cutting edge technology. Clients you will impact… You will have a direct impact by acquiring new customers and growing business with existing customers by developing strategies to sell a wide range of industrial computers and tablets. Your contribution is vital in establishing Teguar as more than a computer supplier, but a partner who will directly influence the technology community. Your main responsibility… As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities in your named account list, closing leads and winning deals for industrial and medical computing applications.

Your core accountabilities:

Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within names accounts. Acts as the primary point of contact for these strategic accounts and provide exceptional customer service. Regularly engage with customers through calls, emails, meetings, and other communication channels to understand their needs, challenges, and expectations. Regular onsite visits are expected. Utilize the CRM tool, Hubspot, to log communication and keep task of open deals, leads and tasks. Negotiate pricing and terms with key customers to optimize revenue and maintain customer loyalty. Provide regular reports to the sales manager and/or leadership team, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities within assigned accounts. Lead Management Respond promptly and professionally to prequalified leads and inquiries generated through marketing efforts. Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand potential clients’ requirements and challenges. Clearly communicate product/service features, benefits, and pricing to prospects. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product management, supply chain, support) to ensure a seamless customer experience. Account Planning & Growth Develop comprehensive and strategic account plans for each key customer, outlining objectives, targets, and growth strategies. Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, promoting additional products, services, and solutions that align with customer needs. Understand the customer’s product lifecycle. Continues customer education via our product road maps. Regularly present product demonstrations and conduct sales presentations to showcase the value and benefits of our offerings. Industry and Product Knowledge Stay updated with industry trends, partners, competitors, and market conditions. Continuously enhance product knowledge and effectively communicate product updates to clients. Core Competencies you need… Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Requirements Bachelors Degree from a four-year college or university and 2 years’ relevant experience; Or a minimum of 5 years of experience in lieu of education; OR an equivalent combination of years and/or experience. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skill. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals over the phone. Customer oriented. Excellent follow-up and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and take initiative. Proficient in MS Office. Willingness to learn.
