How You’ll Perform the Role As the Director of National Accounts- FSM/GPO, you will be expected to leverage your relationships and knowledge of contract management to strengthen our partnerships with strategic FSM and GPO customers. Through the development of programs and services, you will solve our customer’s most critical sustainability challenges as it relates to disposable packaging. This is a system selling approach that begins with value creation and incorporates product design, expanded product bundles, marketing and communication services for clients. This position requires the ability to build and foster effective customer relationships at all levels of the organization(s). You will be responsible for gathering, reporting and providing customer feedback to cross functional teams in the organization. Strengthen Eco-Products’ value proposition to our largest and most strategic customers utilizing relationship with FSM/GPO Account Executives up to senior level procurement teams
Knowledge of developing and implementing customer rebate programs
Sell and manage customer contracts with the intent to maximize sales opportunities while attaining EBITDA objectives
Penetrate contract positions with new categories of business by securing line-item hard specifications with key customers
Develop growth strategies for assigned accounts and managing field compliance
Establish and maintain active zero waste opportunity pipeline from both new and existing customers
Coordinate and lead customer projects with cross functional teams in an effort to win new business or strengthen our value proposition with existing customers
Coordinate operator call objectives for FSM/GPO accounts with the field sales team (RSM, PZW and Brokers) using waste diverting data and the Objective Sales Plan tools
Effectively negotiate, develop, and manage opportunities throughout all stages of the sales cycle
Have experience with the

process
Collaborate with marketing services to identify communication platforms and vehicles for reaching members and front-line managers of contract customers with product and capabilities detail
Responsible for corporate and distributor trade management spend
Identify, develop & close cross selling opportunities with other Novolex brands
Identify and improve price/margin on low margin business
Implement price increases in a timely manner with market pricing What We Need From You Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college or university
7-10+ years of progressive experience in national account sales preferably in the food service industry
Travel as needed
5 years or more of street sales and distribution experience
Thorough knowledge of customer channel and broad line distribution
General understanding of the competition
Superior negotiating, organizational, and selling skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written
Strategic thought leader who can keep a large number of projects going concurrently
Results oriented with a track record of exceeding goals
Strong inclination towards sustainability in business and personal environments
General understanding of foodservice distribution and disposables markets
Ability to manage all aspects of supplier relationship management
Ability to build strong relationships with distributors and close sales
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent customer service skills and the genuine desire to negotiate win/win situations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team to achieve goalsA
Ability to self-manage remotely including strong planning and time management skills
Excellent presentation skills both to customers and internal contacts to include PowerPoint preparation and presentation
Self-motivated and willingness to contact dozens of new accounts per day with the possibility of rejection on each call
Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core
