Wholesale Account Manager American Hardware & Lumber Insurance Cornelius, NC 28031

• Hybrid work American Lumber Underwriters (ALU), is a division of American Hardware & Lumber Insurance (AHLI).

ALU focuses on helping insurance agents, throughout the US, with their accounts in the retail hardware, lumber manufacturing and building material dealers industries. ALU has unique partnerships with carriers and brokers to place almost all types of risks. We are seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to facilitate the new business and renewal processes for an existing book of business. This position will process new and renewal business and ensure all appropriate information and documentation is submitted in a timely and accurate manner. This position contributes to the overall success relating to growth, renewal retention, service, and account management.

Duties:

gather necessary information from agents/brokers to adequately prepare the account for renewal quotes. communicate with agents/brokers throughout the new and renewal processes from gathering information to securing the bind order. work with agents/brokers to ensure that binding subjectivities are met. process policy change requests, forms, and endorsements. assist agents/brokers with requests for loss runs, and questions on billing, audits, and claim issues. may work with carriers to rate new and renewal quotes.

Qualifications:

• minimum of 3 years commercial insurance experience
• experience in a wholesale insurance environment is a plus
• strong organizational skills and ability to work in an efficient manner to meet deadlines
• excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• PC proficient: Excel, Word, and Agency Management Systems
