Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Patient Account Representative in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to patient accounts in the healthcare industry. Your tasks will involve using various technological tools and systems, including Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM, and Epic Software.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizing Allscripts for patient account management
• Operating Cerner Technologies for efficient patient data handling
• Employing Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) for effective data communication
• Applying

EHR SYSTEM

for electronic health record maintenance

• Navigating Epic Software for healthcare management
• Handling appeals related to patient accounts
• Executing benefit functions for patient services
• Performing billing functions related to patient accounts
• Administering claims related to patient services
• Managing operations related to clinical trials. Requirements
• Proficiency in using health information systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, and

EHR SYSTEM.

• Experience with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is desirable.
• Familiarity with Epic Software is a must for efficient workflow.
• Strong skills in appeals processing to ensure patient satisfaction and compliance.
• Understanding of benefit functions to provide accurate information to patients.
• Proficiency in billing functions to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
• Experience in claim administration to handle patient insurance claims effectively.
• Knowledge of clinical trial operations to support research efforts and patient care.
