Description:
We seek Account Managers passionate about sales and building customer relationships to join our growing team! Our ideal candidates understand that the produce industry is much more than offering commodities at the lowest possible price. This person has enthusiasm for quality foods, loves working in a fast-paced environment, and strives to provide an excellent customer experience. The territories in New Jersey for these positions are Cherry Hill, Princeton, and Paramus. The primary focus of this role will be to develop new business growth within the designated territory to achieve profitable sales expansion. This includes cold-calls and in-person visits to potential customers. Sales activity such as prospect calls, emails, meetings, social media, and trade shows. CRM utilization- logging calls, meetings, pipeline, credit app, new customer form, QA tickets, etc. Ownership of pricing Onboarding of new customers Relationship management with existing customers Transition management to move account from hunter to farmer Achievement of sales targets is rewarded with incentive compensation. Management of Accounts Receivables.
Minumum requirements:
High School Diploma/GED. Ability to easily navigate our company technologies (CRM, ERP, and routing programs. Valid driver’s license with clean driving. Current automobile insurance. Pass pre-employment testing (background and drug screen).
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, hospitality, or culinary arts. Proven experience in outside foodservice sales, including established connections within the restaurant and foodservice sector. Chef or restaurant management experience, and/or related fields.
