About the Job The NationalAccount Director is a senior leader responsible for developing andexecuting strategic initiatives to enhance market access throughrobust partnerships with assigned customers and Sanofi’s products.

This role requires a deep understanding of the US healthcare andpharmaceutical landscapes, exceptional negotiation skills, and theability to collaborate cross-functionally to drive commercialsuccess. The successful candidate will be responsible for managingassigned national accounts, leading contract negotiations,maximizing gross-to-net, and driving initiatives that optimizemarket positioning and revenue growth. Main Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership andAccount Management

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy fornational accounts with a focus on PBM and GPO relationships.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and keynational accounts, ensuring alignment with company objectives andmarket access goals.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunitieswithin the PBM/GPO channels to expand market presence and improvecommercial outcomes. Contract Negotiation and Relationship Building
  • Lead high-level negotiations for contracts and partnerships withPBMs and GPOs, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that enhancemarket access.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships withexecutive stakeholders at PBMs, GPOs, and other strategic partners
  • Develop tailored proposals and business cases that address theunique needs and requirements of each partner.
  • Diving deeper intoaccount personnel by leveraging digital tools [N1-Connect,LinkedIn, etc.]to ensure there are multiple touchpoints and layersof relationships in different functional areas. Cross-FunctionalCollaboration
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales,marketing, pricing, contracting, operations, regulatory affairs,and legal to ensure a cohesive approach to market access.
  • Provideinsights and market intelligence to support product development andpositioning strategies.
  • Coordinate with commercial and operationsteams to ensure the effective execution of strategic initiatives.

Market Analysis & Strategy Development

  • Monitor industry trends,competitive activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategicplanning and risk management.
  • Analyze data and market performancemetrics to assess the effectiveness of current PBM/GPO partnershipsand to identify areas for improvement.
  • Present regular reportsand strategic updates to senior management, outlining keyachievements, challenges, and opportunities.
About You RequiredQualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business,Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Anadvanced degree (MBA, MHA) is preferred. Experience
  • A minimum of8-10 years of progressive experience in market access, nationalaccount management, or a related role within the healthcare orpharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complexPBM/GPO relationships and executing large-scale national accountstrategies.
  • Proven track record of successful contractnegotiations and partnership management. Other
