Position Summary Reporting to the Director of Student Accounts, the Student Accounts Senior Representative supports the daily operations of the Student Accounts Office, including customer service and all related back-office processes and functions. This position may require overtime, including work hours on weekends and holidays. Additionally, this position requires travel to and work at the other Fordham campuses when needed.
Essential Functions Handles customer service inquiries regarding student accounts, including billing, payments, financial aid, and refunds.
Reviews student accounts to determine the accuracy of charges, financial aid disbursements, and verifies credit validity.
Advises students on options for financing their Fordham education.
Assists students with navigating the various self-service options.
Processes credit card, cash, and check payments and requests for itemized bills for students and third-party vendors.
Assists students with reviewing and understanding their 1098T.
Assists with developing, implementing, and enhancing student account policies and procedures.
Hosts, participates, and/or presents in online presentations.

Additional Functions Assists other offices of the Enrollment Group as needed.
Provides coverage for Enrollment Services staff as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service and/or clerical role.
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills Mandatory Competency Testing.
Must communicate clearly and effectively with all constituents both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
