This is a senior leadership role in our Local Ads Business. This individual will manage our Partner Management team and oversee relationships with local channel partners who resell Amazon Advertising solutions. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a reputation for hiring and developing the best talent as this individual will manage a team of partner managers focused on enabling and growing our local channel partner network. As a player-coach, this individual will be responsible for developing and managing key local channel partner relationships and hitting revenue targets while partnering with internal stakeholders to continuously ideate and deliver advertising products that meet our local partners’ needs. This includes managing relationships with regional and local advertising resellers, marketing agencies, and technology partners who serve local advertisers. We are seeking an innovative, creative, analytical, and strategic thinker who is passionate about digital media and the future of local advertising through channel partnerships. The ideal candidate understands the unique dynamics of working with local channel partners, enjoys solving complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. The role requires subject matter expertise in channel partner management, local advertising ecosystems, and digital advertising solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of developing and executing channel partner strategies, with particular emphasis on local market dynamics. This person also has the ability to build and maintain a network of relationships with local channel partners and help them navigate complex situations. They possess superior interpersonal skills and are able to earn trust with both partner organizations and internal senior management. The successful candidate will have a talent for responding effectively to local market needs, partner feedback, and competitive positioning. They are comfortable with ambiguity and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of partner managers focused on local channel partner success and growth
- Own and deliver a long-term vision for the local channel partner program
- Define partnership strategy and objectives for the local channel partner ecosystem
- Drive the partner management process and play a hands-on role in managing strategic local channel partnerships
- Create and implement partner enablement programs and tools that increase performance of local channel partners
- Develop scalable solutions to support local channel partners in selling Amazon Advertising products
- Work closely with the Business Development team to identify and onboard new local channel partners
- Engage with internal cross-functional teams to ensure our product offerings and support systems meet local channel partner needs
- Drive revenue growth through local channel partners while maintaining high partner satisfaction
- Develop and manage senior-level relationships across Amazon Advertising and key channel partners
- Create standardized processes and best practices for local channel partner management Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years of B2B sales experience
- Experience managing teams
- Experience managing teams who deliver on defined goals and timelines
- Experience hiring and retaining sales talent
- Experience building new customer relationships Preferred Qualifications
- Experience reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $263,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
