Role Purpose Statement Seeking an outgoing candidate who thrives ina fast paced production environment and enjoys managing a group ofemployees that are focused on delivering a quality product to ourcustomers. Additionally, this candidate needs to monitor and engageemployees in all safety & performance initiatives. MainAccountabilities Supervisor Responsibility Ensure that the area ofresponsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed and thatall delivery times are being met timely Conduct daily work groupmeetings Schedule and control staff to meet labour productivity andovertime targets Ensure compliance with all government regulatoryagencies standards (example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA),United Stated Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safetyand Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental ProtectionAdministration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), HazardAnalysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.) Document andfollow up on all department processes in order to implementimprovements Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or cateringof all flights Monitor and ensure compliance with all safetyregulations Other duties as deemed necessary Leadership Guide,motivate and develop staff within the Human Resources policies Makethe company’s values and management principles live in thedepartment(s) Manage productivity hours and costs in the area ofresponsibility; initiate and steer corrective actions in case ofdeviations Participate and support company sponsored initiativessuch as Quality, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, Employee Safety andProduction systems Knowledge, Skills and Experience Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent knowledge required In addition, one to threeyears of related work experience required Problem solving andleadership skills Strong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to develop and lead others to obtain desired results ∾hieve productivity goals Working knowledge of OSHA, GoodManufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, USDA and EPA regulationsExcellent verbal, written and organizational skills required alongwith the ability to multi-task Good knowledge of Microsoft Officeand Windows-based computer applications
