We are seeking aFoodservice Sales Account Manager, Midwest Region to join our teamand help grow our business in the foodservice channel across amulti-state territory. About the Role As a Foodservice SalesAccount Manager, you will be responsible for achieving annual salesgoals by working with distribution partners, operators, andregional chains. Your focus will be on identifying high-levelopportunities and aligning business and customer goals to deliverinnovative, tailored solutions. This position offers an excitingopportunity to expand market penetration while building lastingrelationships with key stakeholders across the foodserviceindustry.

Key Responsibilities Market Growth:

Expand distributionpartnerships and drive market penetration within the assignedterritory.

Strategic Planning:

Develop and execute sales strategiesthrough targeted efforts, marketing plans, innovation launches, andpromotional activities.

Lead Generation:

Utilize a hunter mentalityto identify opportunities, network, and build strong industryrelationships.

Pipeline Management:

Maintain a new customer funnel,moving leads through the sales pipeline using a CRM system.

BrokerManagement:

Oversee broker relationships across the region.

ProductExpertise:

Deliver best-in-class training on pork categoryproducts, focusing on national and private-label brands.

DSRDevelopment:

Train and educate distributor sales representatives(DSRs) through sales meetings, work-withs, and product cuttings.

Collaboration:

Partner with internal teams—marketing, pricing,insights, culinary, and operations—to develop programs that enhancecustomer relationships.

Event Participation:

Organize and attendfood shows, customer meetings, and other events to drive salesopportunities.

Administrative Duties:

Report forecasting, manageCRM data, and handle travel and expenses efficiently.

RelationshipBuilding:

Build direct, meaningful relationships with internal andexternal decision-makers at all levels. Qualifications andExperience Bachelor’s degree (preferred). 5 years of foodservicesales or distribution experience (preferred). Experience in proteinsales is a plus but not required. Proven track record of initiatingand closing new business. Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, andPowerPoint. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-orientedenvironment. Strong multitasking, team collaboration, andservice-oriented mindset. Culinary experience is a plus. Validdriver’s license required.
