Position Summary:
Turning Points is one of the largest social service agencies in Philadelphia, supporting the needs of more than 10,000 men, women and children throughout the city. We offer programs that help families in raising safe, healthy, educated, and strong children by partnering with caregivers to develop and strengthen protective qualities and by offering them the tools, skills, and resources needed to ensure their children’s optimal development. The Program Supervisor is responsible for support of the Case Management team to provide case management and a broad array of academic and social services to eligible ELECT program participants to help them stay in school, graduate and successfully transition to employment. The ELECT program always works to connect the students to educational and cultural activities that promote students understanding of children development, nurturing parenting practices and exposes students to experiences that help them and their children grow and thrive. Experience Required Evidence of expertise in working with pregnant and parenting youth and families. Supervisory and/or demonstration of leadership experience. 3 year(s): 3 years of experience working with at-risk youth and/or vulnerable population. Education Required Bachelor of Social Work or better in Social Work or related field
