Duncan-Parnell is growing and looking to add a Project & Accounts Specialist to North Charleston SC team. This role is a critical position supporting both operations and sales in our Signs & Graphics division.
SUMMARY :
The Project & Accounts Specialist is designed to bridge the gap between a Sales Representative (SR) and the Project Coordinator (PC). The Project & Accounts Specialist supports the SR in all essential duties such as site surveys, gathering and organizing data on the project, and managing the project from sale to completion. The Specialist relieves the SR of such duties to allow the SR to focus more on sales and business development, and enables the PC to more efficiently manage production and installation schedules.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Performing site surveys with accuracy and attention to detail Organizing information provided by the SR, including the scope of work, site survey photos and measurements, and associated artwork Submitting work orders, proof requests, and other items to the Ops team (after sale/contract is secured) Managing accounts and keeping a balance between accounts vs. projects Gathering installation quotes from outsourced vendors and sending to the SR Coordinating installation schedule with all involved parties (SR, install vendors, PC) Working with in-house or outsourced install team to schedule installation and coordinate Managing overall project schedule to hit deadlines Communicating daily/weekly with onsite contacts (GC, site super, etc) and tracking site readiness Performing quality checks on items from production as needed to assist the PC Tracking permit and production schedule and relaying any updates to SR or internal team Adhering to safety standards – instructing installers to wear PPE or safety equipment while on site as well as when PM meets client onsite as needed Assisting in production when needed (organizing ADA, applying VHB, packaging) Building relationships with outsourced installers to ensure successful projects Includes other various duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
: Attention to detail Highly organized Excellent verbal and written communication (emails and in-person) 1-2 years of Project management/coordination experience (preferred) Problem-solving skills Proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel Experience in reading site plans and other documents
