Provider Liaison will serve as a resource and advocate for medical providers across clients of The Onyx Group. Liaison will work to resolves queries, support providers, and work with other departments on provider related issues to ensure operational efficiencies. Meticulous in their work, excellent at prioritizing, and exemplary in communicating will be key.
Responsibilities :
Fosters and cultivates professional relationships with assigned medical providers to gauge and maintain morale and productivity Responds to and resolves questions or concerns from providers in a timely and service-oriented manner Conducts training with providers on policies, procedures, services, and available technology. Maintains accurate records with responsible agencies and organizations of all provider and practice information related to licensing, credentialing contracting, and privileges. Completing detailed credentialing and licensing applications and renewals for Providers with accuracy and follows up as needed. Works with other departments to manage provider onboarding/offboarding and other relevant projects. Communicates status of progress and meets deadlines. Maintains confidentiality of Provider information. Maintains a working knowledge of all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations regarding healthcare. All other duties assigned.

Physical Demands :
Requires sitting, standing, and walking associated with a normal physician office environment. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time. Position will require travel between all Tribe locations. Person may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens.
