Position Summary With continued growth, it’s time to add a layer of leadership support to our Account Management team. We are open to qualified candidates living anywhere in the U.S. The Director of Account Management will lead a group of Account Managers within eShipping’s Account Management team. This individual will develop and maintain a deep understanding of eShipping’s capabilities and growth strategy to develop tactics to ensure delivery of the most appropriate and cost-effective services with the goal of continuously improving retention and growing existing accounts. This leader will help continue building customer relationships while also managing and developing a team of direct reports. The Director of Account Management will also manage a key account while working closely with internal eShipping support teams to develop and execute the customer strategy. In addition, the Director will be tasked with monitoring their team’s KPIs, ensuring progress to overall Account Management goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Encompass the Mission! Work effectively with the eShipping teams, consistent with our Mission and “Five E’s” philosophy and core values Manage and develop a diverse team of Account Managers through coaching and feedback for both personal and professional development Act as executive leader for assigned customers. Provide oversight to all customers to evaluate for and ensure excellent execution. Develop and maintain relationships with executive teams of each top 25 customer and/or other executive sponsor assignments Manage assigned customer account Achieve and sustain 3-year vision for retention Support (and lead, when necessary) contract renewal opportunities Use outstanding communication skills to present to and influence both internal and external key stakeholders Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Solutions teams to ensure the value of services is being effectively communicated Investigate root causes for attrition, define root cause(s), and align resources for correction and prevention Support Account Managers through upsell opportunities (with existing accounts) to achieve corporate growth goals Travel 20% – 40% to regularly attend customer meetings to evaluate customer satisfaction and eShipping performance Other duties as assigned Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
