Position Summary The Truckload Account Manager fosters strong customer and carrier relationships and manages a variety of clients within the logistics and supply chain industry. This individual manages client engagement, monitors day-to-day activities, and cultivates business relationships to encourage growth within existing accounts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to the following: Manage the needs of full truckload clients within the logistics and supply chain industry Recruit, train, and manage a small team of Logistics Coordinators Maintain strong relationships within the client organizations at the decision maker and end-user levels, present a consistent company image to those clients, and build and maintain high levels of client satisfaction Develop SOPs, KPIs, and other measurements while onboarding new customers, and ensure these metrics are met and regularly reported for existing customers. Manage the contract renewal process Support day-to-day operations Conduct annual account reviews Promote account penetration by pursuing sales growth opportunities with current customers within other departments Nurture prospect relationships over extended sales cycles Manage the negotiation and closing processes for each unique contract Other administrative duties as assigned Specific Department Responsibilities Maintain current understanding of applicable requirements and laws Required Skills and Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Physical Demands:
