Account Manager:
Minimum of BS degree in Chemistry, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Polymer and Fiber Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering or related engineering discipline. Master’s or PhD preferred. The Project Manager/Account Manager within Client Management is responsible for the internal execution and delivery of client-facing work, from project planning and forecast validation through manufacturing transfer and production support. This role owns the translation of client needs into actionable plans and leads cross-functional teams to deliver on client commitments, ensuring projects stay on track, within budget, and aligned with quality and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership :
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned client projects. Develop timelines, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers. Drive project milestones through collaboration with internal functions (Manufacturing, Quality, Sustaining Engineering, Supply Chain).
Forecast Feasibility & Execution :
Validate client forecasts by working with operations to determine feasibility based on capacity, materials, and other prior commitments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Serve as a strategic liaison across sustaining engineering and operational teams. Promote effective, proactive communication to identify and resolve issues early, manage risks, and maintain consistent project execution standards.
Client Communication :
Provide clients with regular project updates, technical insights, and issue resolution support.
Business Support :
Participate in scoping new technical opportunities, contributing feasibility and resource inputs to new proposals. Education/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer and Fiber Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering or related discipline. Master’s preferred.
