Sales Account Manager 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars York, SC 29745 POSITION SUMMARY Account Manager is the bridge between a company and clients. When required the Account Manager could have a double role: take part of the Global Account Manager (GAM) Team to manage a Global Accounts. In this case the Account Manager (AM) will report to the GAM for all activities and performances are related to the Global account portion related to their Local responsibility. AM will act as a team member and cooperate with GAM Team for two main objectives: first to gain all the intelligence necessary to increase the Account knowledge and second to ensure the proper connection with the Local Accounts. The two together will help to maximize the Global Account Growth opportunity. Operate as Global Account Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive customer satisfaction and retention:

By building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and exceeding expectations.

Expand account growth:

Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, propose solutions that add value, and contribute to increased revenue generation.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration:

Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keep internal stakeholders informed, and foster a collaborative environment to address client needs efficiently.

Monitor and optimize account performance:

Track key metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance client success.

Stay informed of industry trends:

Continuously learn about market developments, competitor offerings, and customer best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and client solutions are up-to-date.

ACCOUNT MANAGER RESPONSIBILITES

Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients Consult with clients to understand their needs and challenges Identify and propose solutions that meet client requirements Negotiate and close contracts Oversee account performance and manage client expectations Developing New Customers Resolve commercial client issues and support/facilitate other functions complaints effectively (e.g. quality, delivery, payment); Communicate client feedback and recommendations to internal teams Generate reports and track key performance indicators (KPIs) Develop a deep understanding of the client’s market, industry trends, and competition Responsible to define Budget, Forecast and regular outlook for the responsible Accounts Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings
