Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Patient Accounts Representative to join our billing team. This role is responsible for reviewing unpaid invoices in the ETM system and following up with insurance carriers to resolve outstanding claims. This position is on-site with the potential to transition to remote after training and demonstrated performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review worklists in ETM to identify and resolve unpaid invoices Contact insurance carriers via phone or web to follow up on claims Identify and report trends or errors affecting claims processing Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ETM system Attend monthly meetings with the No Response/Billing Supervisor Communicate claim issues, denials, and adjustments as needed Complete tasks assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in medical billing, especially in Accounts Receivable Knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement (Medicare/Medicaid preferred) Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent follow-up and organizational abilities Apply today to become part of a trusted leader in healthcare!
