Job Description
OBJECTIVE
The On-Premise Market Manager is responsible for guiding and providing the right tools in the development of their sales team. Additionally, will be responsible for managing and growing the business of the account base assigned to the sales team. Will at all times uphold Lipman Brothers’ message, image, mission and culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop best practices for your team members concentrating on: Sales Sales calls Sales Presentations Customer interaction In house procedures Education of products we represent Education of customer waitstaff and bar staff Account relationships Professionalism Execute company goals and objectives for all products sold by the team Monitor daily, weekly, monthly sales and distribution results Tracking and proper accountability of Team Goals and objectives Educate and mentor sales reps assigned through meetings, and in field direction. Perform annual employee review with each rep. Praise and discipline team when necessary being sure to follow company policy and procedure Develop relationships with key customers in the account base covered by the team Maintain knowledge and be trained on the latest versions of all reporting systems and software. Attend all required supplier meetings in house or off site. Provides regular and accurate sales management reports to upper Management. Monitor and adhere to expense budget. Responsible for selling and executing all divisions of sales. Beer, Spirits, Wine, Non Alc, Riedel Crystal, and Cigars. Job duties include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities Manage margin & net sales growth, within area of responsibility, through: Share gains Execution Mix Provide clear direction, expectations, and feedback to On Premise sales representatives under remit. Measure & evaluate goals by brand that drive share gains across all ON Premise KPI’s Distribution Increases Menus / Features Backbar presence of key brands by category POS Execution that supports distribution Staff Trainings National and Regional Account Authorizations Coach/ train, develop On-Premise Sales Team under remit. Evaluate performance and hold accountable the On-Premise Sales Team under remit. Using consistent qualitative and quantitative criteria Support productive top customer relationships with salesperson and director. Identify, communicate, & action competitive threats, market trends, opportunities & risks. Lead account re-openings and openings.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent Computer skills: Microsoft Office and windows-based computer applications as well as order entry systems Knowledge of Lipman Brothers brand portfolio preferred Strong leadership and consensus building skills Must be a self-starter and highly organized Must be able to problem solve and trouble shoot when needed. Polished presentation, interpersonal, and facilitation skills Team player with enthusiastic outlook and creativity Ability to travel as needed
