As a Janitorial Account Manager, you will play a key leadership role, overseeing daily operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, building strong client relationships, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. The role primarily covers 1st shift hours (8am-4pm) and requires flexibility to meet operational needs, including occasional coverage during holidays and special events. Responsibilities Supervise, train, and support janitorial staff across assigned accounts to foster a positive and productive work environment. Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations, including start-up and ongoing service delivery at multiple locations. Conduct regular quality control inspections and account evaluations to maintain high service standards. Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through scheduled walk-throughs and weekly visits. Respond promptly to client concerns and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage staffing needs, including hiring, promoting, and making recommendations regarding personnel. Deliver and distribute supplies and equipment to assigned locations as needed. Provide coverage for accounts in cases of employee absence or labor shortages, including performing cleaning tasks as necessary. Participate in special events and ensure all accounts are fully staffed and serviced during nationally recognized holidays. Attend management meetings and conduct regular status meetings with staff to communicate goals and updates. Maintain flexibility to adjust work schedule as required by operational demands. Qualifications Valid driver’s license. 2-3 years of management experience, preferably in janitorial or related services. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to perform physical cleaning tasks alongside team members.
