Job Description

Outside Sales Account Manager Josh Sherrill Insurance Agency Knoxville, TN We’re seeking an outside sales representative to identify new target buyers and upsell to current customers to achieve sales goals. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented outside sales expert that can prospect, present, and close deals efficiently. Compensation:

$91,000 – $117,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

Convert “no” into “yes” by identifying and resolving potential obstacles such as budget, timelines, shareholders, competition, and other pain points Move your sales leads and deals through the sales pipeline efficiently while consistently adding new target buyers into the funnel Show our solution to prospects with sales presentations, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures Leverage social prospecting and multiple communication channels to find, meet with, and follow-up with potential customers and deal opportunities Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/ revenue-generating activities

Client Consultation and Needs Assessment:

Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients’ insurance requirements. Provide expert advice and recommendations on suitable insurance products and services

Sales Presentations and Proposals:

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients. Explain policy features, benefits, and pricing effectively to ensure client understanding and satisfaction.

Relationship Building and Client Management:

Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service.

Qualifications:

You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred Proven track record in sales 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience You must have a driver’s license and a reliable vehicle Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma preferred You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
