Position Summary:
The Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of insurance business, marketing new and renewal business, and rounding out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager also maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Tasks:
Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client’s insurance policies Preparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriers Assisting with cancellations of policies Educates clients about coverages and make recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs Handles renewals and remarkets as needed. Develop proposals and may present to clients. Handles or refers insured’s questions or delegates to appropriate team member Actively refers clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business Maintains detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24) Maintains healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers and other stakeholders On occasion, may work with Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies Keeps informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable
